Hi All,
I've been a member of this forum for some time, but this is my very first post. Yesterday I've purchased my first Festools. Domino Joiner, CT22 with Boom Arm, and MFT/3. I came home and spent a great deal of time setting things up and was very eager to try Festool products. So far (2 houses into my workings with Festool) I'm very happy.
The reason I'm posting in this thread is because I wanted to share my experience with all of you in Ontario about a great dealers we have here. If you're like me in eastern Ontario, Ottawa region, you're a lucky fellow. There is a dealer in Brockville named ToolTech and the guy is awesome. He showed me how to properly use the domino, answered all of my questions, I got to try other Festool tools like Rotex sender etc. This dealer has all of the Festools in stock and on display so you can come in and try them before you buy them. I got CT22 and MFT/3 from him on the same day. The owners name is Patrick and the guy takes pride in selling and servicing Festool products. The coolest thing about this dealer is that he runs almost like a mini workshops in his showroom, demonstrating to new users and not so new user some of the ways we can improve our skills, since he's got a large display and (I think) most of the Festools on it, you have the ability to feel the products and try them right there.
Overall, I had a great experience with ToolTech and I am happy to post this as a review of this dealer. I keep comparing this dealer and Festool with Apple computers, anyone who's got apple knows how good it is and loves their experience in Apple Store, the same thing here. Festool seems to be so solid and well made and experience with this dealer reminds me a lot of experience in Apple store where you're serviced and served like you're the only one. Way to go Festool, way to go ToolTech...
Sincerely,
Yuri York
