Hi,
Anyone ever used a RO90 with pad to apply Osmo PolyX, or similar oil?

Since I only recently bought my RO-90, not used for that kind of thing yet, but the RO-90 would certainly do the job just fine for small surfaces. I would not want to use it for applying hardwax oil to large surfaces...a much larger tool is better suited for that.

When I've done it for small areas, I used Festool's Platin 2 to 'burnish' the oil into the surface with the RO90. It worked well since it's both foam backed and silicone carbide with a sterate coating.
You could also use a felt pad and get good results.

With the white vlies pad, yes.  I eventually found though that it was overkill, and now just work by hand with a norton white pad.
