Outside Side Gate - Laterral Bracing query

So I'm looking at building an open panelled side gate out of prime European oak.

Bottom rail is 150mm x 50mm
Top Rail        100mm x 50
Infill rails        50 x 50

Also constructed with sipo tennons using the 700.

Gate dimensions run at 940 (w) x 1000 (h)

I have included a link to a similar looking gate, however this has a middle rail which I don't want.

My query is: do I need to allow some lateral bracing across the diagonal to stop it from dropping. Or will the short span and construction be sufficient?

All gates and doors I've done before I've had lateral bracing or solid infill panels, but with the aesthetic appearance I am trying to go for with this one I didn't want to obstruct it with a brace?

What is the thickness of the stiles?

If the infill rails are going to be tenoned or Dominoed, it will increase the strength and rigidity (acting like one panel) of the gate and you shouldn't need to use a brace.

To be on the safe side I would through tenon the top and bottom rails.

I recently did a set of gates, about 940 mm wide by 660 mm tall. 2x4 cedar top and bottom rails, 2x4 styles, 2 x 2 balusters.

There are 10 x 50 Dominos in the style to rails connections and 10 x 50 Dominos in the baluster to rail connections. Everything was glued with TB III and clamped.

As you can see I did back bevel the balusters to fit the drainage bevel on the lower rail. The upper rail was chamfered also.

So far no sag at all. I would have used the 700 for the style to rail connections, but I don't have one---------yet.

worst comes to worst you could always add a cable with turnbuckle later.

100 x 50 for the stiles Tim.

Thanks for the other comments guys. I thought I would have enough support, but always worth asking the question before building.
Ask twice cut once.
