Yes, you can but the parallel guide must be attached in a way that it's not fully slid into the T-slot on the guide rail. Which isn't a problem.

If you mean cross cutting not ripping then yes they will go on a 1400 rail to cross cut a sheet and they will work with 2 x 1400 =2800 aswell
