Hi. Well I've been poking around (including EKAT) for these part numbers and I can't seem to find them.
Could someone please post the tool end part numbers for both the anti-static and non anti-static hose ends.
I'm also wondering if there are any differences between the two as far as installation goes. I have a Bosch non anti-static hose and I'd like to change the tool end.
Thanks in advance!
Greg

Any particular reason? I have the Bosch 36MM antistatic and the tool end works perfectly on the OF1400, TS55EQ, ETS125, and PSB300 (and my Porter Cable biscuit joiner as well).

The tool-end fittings are called "reducing sleeves" and can be found on the Festool website(s) -- however, not as easy to find as they once were...  The vacuum-end fitting is called the "rotating connectors".

I can locate the rotating connectors in both antistatic and non-antistatic on the Festool USA site, but can only find the reducing sleeves in antistatic.

Part No. 487721, antistatic reducing sleeve:  http://www.festoolusa.com/power-tool-accessories/hepa-dust-extractors/reducing-hose-sleeves/hose-sleeve-reducing-sleeve-for-antistatic-d-36-hose-487721

Part No. 452893, non-antistatic rotating connector:  http://www.festoolusa.com/power-tool-accessories/hepa-dust-extractors/rotating-hose-sleeves/hose-sleeve-rotating-connector-for-d-36-non-antistatic-hose-452893

Part No. 452894, antistatic rotating connector:  http://www.festoolusa.com/power-tool-accessories/hepa-dust-extractors/rotating-hose-sleeves/hose-sleeve-rotating-connector-for-d-36-antistatic-hose-452894

Each of these hose fittings are similar in that their parts are similar and they all install the same way.  Here's a link that illustrates how to install these fittings:

There are two tool ends and they are both antistatic...
487071 is for 27mm hoses
487721 is for 36mm hoses

Hi. Thank you for the help.....I'll order thru my local dealer.

Not sure why I didn't think to go to the Festool site..... I hit amazon.ca and tried this site thru search and ekat........

I have the 36 and 27mm Festool hoses, and they are attached to my boom arm (homemade) for my MFT table. My shop is fairly small, so I bought the Bosch hose for the odd time I need to go the the larger part of my shop and break down sheet goods. I don't get a lot of time to putter with woodworking, but have noticed in the last few months that I had developed a bit of a cough and am trying to improve dust collection. I noticed when I'm cutting plywood with my 36mm festool hose on my mft I get very little dust. When I use my track saw in the other part of my shop with the bosch hose I get more dust...........so since the bosch hose fits inside the dust port on my saw, and my festool hose fits on the outside of the dust port I decided to take the tool end off my festool hose and install it on my bosch hose to do a comparison.......it did make a difference as the tool end opening on the festool is larger and fits on the outside of my track saw......that and one of those filter things that mounts on the ceiling and my cough is gone......so that is why I would like to change the end on the bosch hose.
Thanks again for all the great help.
Greg
