PayPal's compatability with Australian Bank A/C numbers.

[size=14pt]By email two representatives of PayPal have claimed that their systems are fully compatible with Australian Banking A/C numbers.

However my bank account number is not able to be processed for registration on their on line system.  [eek]

Has anyone else had this or a similar problem, either in Australia or Europe and Nth America?
