So, how much slop is supposed to be in the shaft to which the chuck attaches?
Mine seems to have quite a bit (get it, a bit, no seriously, like a needle bit’s worth).
There is radial play ~.2mm and longitudinal play ~.4mm. Springy resistance in the in/out play, and some moderate seal/rubbery resistance in the side to side play.
When you push the shaft in, the radial play seems to go away or gain a great deal of resistance.
