just thought I would post this after reading an old post regarding pica pencils, I found these on ebay u.k so maybe of help to members , just look under picamarker ebay u.k. ( green)

I've purchased two of these over the last week and had one shipped with the standard refills (10 x graphite) and one with coloured refills (4 x graphite, 2 x red, 2 x yellow).

Service and communications with the seller were excellent, and they are fantastic pencils for woodworking and general DIY.

Isn't  .co  the Colombian domain?

It may well be, but they've got an Illinois phone number and charge an Illinois sales tax, so I'm presuming they're in Illinois...  [wink]

I am in the states and purchases a Pica pencil from Artisan Tools. Great company and super fast shipping.

I bought the pica from Artisan Tools also.  He is a FOG member!  Also had a great experience and also a funny one!

Yes it is...but pretty much anyone, anywhere, can register a domain. It's becoming quite popular with startup companies as is getting extremely difficult to find a good .com domain name. Google is using www.g.co and Twitter, www.t.co, for their own link shortening services. Sorry for the domain registration ramble;)

Correct...located in Illinois.

I love mine, the only recommendation would to be to order the multicolor pack of lead refills. I really underestimated how much I would use them.

These are great pencils, the graphite are nice, every once in awhile slide the lead out and push the click to let the powder out as it builds up inside and will cause it to bind a little, our favorite is the yellow lead. We do a lot of prefinished dark stained wood, the yellow shows up very well. check out the markers, they are also great. Got a couple new guys that are interested, may have to order more soon.

I modified my sharpener.  I took a favor knife and put a nick about midway in the sharpening blade.  Think serration.  Makes the sharpening faster.

I ordered one Friday afternoon and got it today late morning. [tongue]

I finally broke down and ordered a few.  Interested to see how the colors do marking metal for cutting/layout work prior to welding.
