Hi Everyone

I bought a new bench mounted pillar drill before Christmas but injured my shoulder and could not do much with it. Everything is back to normal now and so I have just made the mobile base for it. In a small workshop it is almost impossible to get the pillar drill in the perfect position especially when working on large items. The mobile base provides a bit of flexibility.

In case you are unaware, I give away the plans for all of my projects free of charge and so if you would like a copy all I need is an email address so that I can send them to you.

Here is the video:

Peter - Another great video, thanks!  [smile]

What brand is your stud detector? How do you find it in use?
What are you using when drilling into the wall, looks like a red dust pan under the drill..?

The stud detector is made by Bosch. I have had so many over the years that have been either unreliable or they broke within a couple of months. This one seems okay.

That is my Mark 1 dust pan. I try and avoid plaster dust in my extractor system.
