Places to visit near Ashville, NC

I will be in Canton, NC the last week of September. I am taking a few extra days off work to do some woodwork geeking. Besides Asheville Hardware are there other wood hangouts within 100 miles that you would visit?

Although it is not a woodworking hangout, consider visiting the Biltmore Estate if you haven't already.

I second the Biltmore, been there 3 times, make sure you rent the headsets, they narrate as you walk through
 
Sorry,  off-topic but make sure you bring rain gear.  Asheville has had some of the most abnormal rainfall this year.  Normally at this time of year their rainfall to date would be around 27 inches.  They have had around 52 inches.  Festool flippers anyone?

Festool has recently partnered with Gregory to provide training classes at his facility there.  I think I read in another thread that Shawn has signed up for a class or two.
