I so so wish for this....it is a true headache....

So my Festool tools are in the old Systainers, and I have one systainer with a T-Loc.  So with the T-loc systainer attached to the old style I have to take a flat head screwdriver to pry open the front green clips to get the T-loc systainer off of the old style....this is a real headache and I feel it will eventually destroy the clips

I'm not sure that it's possible to change that. But, here's a tip that may help. Undo the side latches then slide the top Systainer back from the front latches. Reverse the process to reattach.

If you shave the inside of the old latches ever so slightly, they will slip on and off much easier.

A coat of wax is an even easier fix -- amazing what a little dab will do for you...  But no matter what you do, those classic latches will still be a little hard to get at with a T-Loc 1 latched on top.

You might also want to try Armour All.

I suppose you are wearing short pants too.  [scared] [blink] [big grin]

I think Festool should offer a trade in program for old systainers.

I wondered if Armor All would make it into this topic -- it does work wonders for the latches!

Actually no.  Bjornkladder Jubilees with a piece of beadboard in my pocket.   [eek]

Really!  How did that beadboard get there with an autograph?   [big grin]

When it comes to the use of Armour All, I take the word of this guy.  To me his word is gospel.  [thumbs up]

And it makes your tools (and hole saws) look pretty.

Corwin, some of us have great legs. [tongue]

All I've had the misfortune of seeing here have been yours and Ick's, so I may not be the best judge of this...   [eek] [scared]

At least I haven't (yet) seen you wear a dress.   [wink]

So are you implying that you have seen r-Ick in a dress????????
[scared]

Well, not in person.  But many here have seen the images.  He just 'barely' fit into that dress...  Kind of a 20 lbs. of potatoes in a 10 lb. bag, if you catch my drift.  Heh, heh, heh.  [blink]

[popcorn]

I think this thread has gone far enough off topic.....it should be closed right away.

Shane?     Shane?    Shane?     Shane?     Shane?     Shaaaane!!!!
