Plug it cords

Why is the cord for my of1400 different than all the rest of my plug it cords.    What a pain!

There are two types of PlugIt cords in the US due to different wire gauges.  If you look at the one for the 1400, it does not have a key on the PlugIt end whereas your smaller sander's PlugIt does.  The sander has a smaller wire gauge that can't be used with higher-draw tools like the OF-1400 so they put the key there so you can't insert the smaller gauge PlugIt into the OF-1400.  If you use a boom arm, put the larger gauge PlugIt on it.

The larger cord is usable with all the tools.
