Plug-It Extension Cord

I just purchased a 7m hose and I'm I'm trying to find an appropriate solution for similar length Plug-It cord.  Is this going to need to be something I fabricate myself?

Also, is there a Plug-It adapter for the Kapex?

I had to , ahem, import a plug-it replacement end from the UK and make up a cord using a 14GA 2 wire extension cord. HD had them in lime green.

Far as I know there is no stock cord longer than the ones that come whit the tools.

There isn't a plug-it conversion for the Kapex.  A non glamorous solution for the needed extra length would be a short section of extension cord for the non tool end of a wire gauge at least (or larger) than the wire supplied with the tool.

Thanks guys!  Very helpful...  One thing it would be nice to know is what tools Festool isn't interested in bringing to market in NA vs what tools our Government or testing labs is prohibiting them from bringing in.  I'd be more than happy to start a change.org petition to run under my local crook congressmen's nose to urge some action.

I agree with Peter. When I need a longer cord I just plug a standard extension cord in between the extractor and the plug-it cord.
