Plug It issue

I have several Festool items which use the Plug It power cord. It is my DTS400 sander that is having an issue. The power is intermittent. It is not the cord ~ I am able to swap other tool cords and the issue persists. So, I believe the issue is on the sander itself. If I put a little pressure on any side of the connector, power comes on.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Take a flashlight and look at the pins on the toll.  Discolored or looking burnt?

I don't remember if I've done this with corded tools, but I've done it with magnetic switches, battery tools and music equipment.  When there are copper contacts at play especially they can get oxidation on them.  A rolled up piece of 400 grit wet/dry sandpaper cleans inside a hole adequately and sometime function is improved.
