Plugging a festool domino hole

I made an error (mid panel joint) and have a domino hole that I need to plug. The wood is walnut, so I have to match it with whatever I'm going to use to plug the hole. The depth is only 12 mm.

I assume this mistake has been made before. Any recommendations/ideas on how to fill?
