Polishing a fiberglass kayak?

I have a brand new RO 125 FEQ and a Midi set up.

Using it mostly for my painting work, and have recently used it for sanding durabond on old plaster, a butcher block table, and just yesterday for a customers cement floor, that needs to be repainted. She was concerned about the dust that I might make since the floor is in her entrance way to her condo. I assured her that the new set-up would do a great job and would also be 97% dust free. As I promised I removed any loose paint, sanded off the high points and all with out raising any noticeable dust. She's happy. paint goes on tomorrow.

Now, my question is, does anyone have experience buffing a fiberglass kayak? I'm looking to buff the dull oxidized paint, on the top of boat, the gelcoat on bottom should be no problem getting a new wax like finish. Its a 10 year old Current Designs Solstice GTS.

Thanks, in advance.
