Buyer beware. It was brought to my attention by another forum member. There is a seller on Amazon purporting to have a "Brand New" Kapex for $630. They ask for funds to be wired by Western Union. You have no recourse if purchasing in this way should the product or seller not be as they seem.

I would always recommend using a credit card, not debit card, or PayPal when purchasing online.

I came across this same item a few days ago.  The description ask that you email the seller directly.  I did this, and when the person asked for my contact and shipping information I immediately reported it to Amazon CS.  I never got to the place where they asked for funds, but it felt suspicious from the start.  Since then I have seen 2 other sellers offering the same item at a similar price.  I talked to Amazon CS again today, because I would love to pick up a Kapex at half price, and they said that all communication with sellers should happen via their messaging system, and any direct contact should be avoided.  They said the sellers would be investigated.  If it seems to good to be true, then it probably is.  But Amazon CS said that if I did make the purchase through the shopping cart, the purchase would be protected and guaranteed.

For whatever all that is worth...

Maybe it is being sold by the same Nigerian prince who has a billion dollars that he needs ME to help him get out.

:D

I should mention that purchasing from other than an authorized dealer may (and likely will) void the warranty.
