Hi,
I have owned a Kapex for six months or so. Here is my issue. If I take a straightedge, say 24 inches long, and push it up against the fence, it is parallel with the fence on the far left and the far right. In the centre, near the blade, there is a gap. Now let's say I am making a cut, and I use the clamp, to apply downward pressure on the board, I make the cut and there is no issue. Now let's say, I don't use the clamp, and instead apply pressure with my left hand to the board, I make the cut, and as the cut is finishing the board moves in, against the gap in the blade. This is my usual method of using a CMS, before I purchased the Kapex.
Can anyone comment please on whether or not this is an issue with your saw. I believe the fence of the Kapex is one solid piece of metal, and therfore there is no room for adjustment.
Thank you.
