What is the part number for the heavier power cord used on the routers and saws?

490656.  It is currently on the website for $44.00.

I don't like the green PUR power cords, they're too stiff. But good under heavy circumstances, I guess.

I have a couple ... certainly too stiff for agile sanding, etc.

Originally got them to shorten and use under the CMS's, but haven't got round to it.

And you can get a green one down here! [smile]

Orange ones also? Maybe we are getting a sneak peak to a new Festool color scheme.

The orange ones are/were Protool.

Hmmm, I need some education here. What is Protool?

[size=12pt]
Hi,

Protool was a range of tools aimed more at heavy construction industry. These tools were NAINA. Recently this range has been discontinued, but some of the new Festool range currently being released in Europe had their origins in the Protool range; for example the CT17 Workshop Vac, QuaDrill DR drills, the Diamond Cutting Saws and the Rail Chainsaw. These tools generally had orange where there is now green.

If you again visit the Festool Aus website, some of the Protool range is still available as we await release of their replacements as Festool. And some will be gone forever!
