I know there has been some interest expressed on the forum for a similar product, so I thought I'd share this. We are selling the Prazi Beam Cutters in 12" and 18" lengths for sidewinder and worm style saws. Fits almost any circular saw brand.

Gotcha...I've had to cut window openings in a friend's cedar log cabin and using a chainsaw was my solution but that's still challenging to keep all the cuts straight. This looks like it'd be a lot easier.

I have had a Prazi on a dedicated Skil worm drive for a couple of years now.  Not a tool I carry with on a regular basis.

I like it for what it is good for.  That is for cutting larger material than you could with a regular saw.  Are the cuts smooth?  Nope.  It's a chain saw.  Can you accurately cut to a line?  Maybe.  There is a lot of vibration and momentum out there at the end of the bar.  I ended up clamping large triangular squares to my workplace offset by the necessary amount.  Would you buy one again?  Yes if I had the same type of projects as I did when I bought it this time.

I just took mine off my worm drive. Leaves a great chattered finish when ripping. Actually used the raw finish on a 12' light fixture.

I too have the 12" one permanently installed on an old circular saw. Mine only sees action about once a year, but that's likely due too the nature of my projects. I'd likely get more use from a 16" circular saw but the Prazi was way cheaper. Cut quality is worse than what I can get freehand with a sharp chainsaw. And it cuts slow.

My MO usually is to cut all sides with a circular saw and finish the cut with a reciprocating saw when dealing with timbers.
