Precisio CS 50 and CMS system: same chassis?

Hello.

I have the opportunity to buy a second hand precisio CS 50 whose engine is HS. I intend to turn it into a CMS system chassis.

Who can confirm that they are exactly the same chassis? Would you have any detailed pictures of the interior of the frame of the CMS, so that I could compare?

After studying Festool's Ekat spare parts catalogue, I can confirm the exact opposite, they're not the same at all. It would take a serious modification to turn it into a CMS. Not saying it would be impossible to do, but you've got some work ahead of you.

They're not at all the same chassis unfortunately. You can look at the detailed pictures and part numbers on EKAT. I *think* the below link will take you to the French version of EKAT...
