Are there general price rises in the u.k. as I notice Axminster tools have put festool prices up, some of them quite a bit!

I noticed that.
But they are still cheaper on some Festool tools than their rivals so I reckon they are just reacting to the market.
However they don't always seem to have the item in stock.

Item I want> Google Shopping>set defaults to lowest price first> decide which company I have had good experiences with or whichever accepts paypal cos I can't be trashed with the rigmarole of setting up an account with them.
Buy.

I don't always go for the cheapest and sometimes pay a few quid more to get good service but I do at least like to know how much I'm paying for that extra ease or service.

I noticed that too this weekend. Had my eye on the OF1010 set which is now about £60-ish more expensive on Axminster. Should have bought last week. That'll teach me.

60 for the 1010 seems a lot more than your usual annual price increase.

I had my eye on one of those as well, just purchased an ets ec 150'5@£329 delivered from a festool dealer!
