Pricing on Carvex Cordless Basic vs Plus Set

Does the Carvex PSBC Plus ($510) come with one or two batteries?  My dealer believes it is only one, and that's what was in the systainer he opened for me.  But if that's the case, why would it be cheaper to buy the basic model ($365), charger ($65) and battery ($65) separately, for a total of $495?  Doesn't make sense unless there is something else you get with the Plus set that I'm not aware of.

The PSBC 420 EB comes with one 18 V battery. The only differences between the set and basic are the battery and charger, so you're right that it's actually cheaper to buy it a la carte instead of as a set. Congratulations on being a strategic and observant shopper.  [big grin]
