I am seriously considering ordering this package.  I currently do not own any cordless festools and this seems like a good kit that would meet my needs (impact, drill, jigsaw, track saw).  I was already in the market for the jigsaw so that's good, but I do already own a ts55.

How does the ts55 compare to the tsc55?  Same power between the two?

I obviously love the dust extraction I get now when I use my corded tools.  I'll also need to purchase the bluetooth module for my ct26e so it'll work just as well with the cordless saws.  Is it true that I can only pair a single battery to my ct?  If I were to purchase this package that comes with 4 batteries, only one can pair with ct?  Essentially I would need to dedicate that battery for the two saws?

Thanks!

The TSC 55 is a better saw.  It just has more power and seems to cut faster with the same quality cut.  I think the electronic motor control, being a brushless servo feedback control has the ability to control the blade speed better under high torque.  The TSC just never seems to strain like the TS does, and it certainly doesn't make that pinging sound like the TS does under load.

I've always used mine with two batteries, even though you can run it with a single.  Only 1 battery needs to be bluetooth to actuate the CT, so if you stumble across some of the older airstream batteries they will work as a slave.  The battery pairing process is super simple- you press the bluetooth button on the CT module, then start the tool.  That will stay programmed to that battery.  If you grab a new battery, just repeat the process.

All of their cordless tools have impressed me, with the exception of the HKC.  As a general purpose construction saw it just seems underpowered in pressure treated 2x.  I still love it and use it frequently though- I just built an entire deck with it alone- no need to drag out the Kapex.

Honestly: the only thing I miss after trading my TS 55 for the cordless version is that characteristic growl - I kinda liked that  [smile]

I was super sceptical at first as well and only bought one eventually because it was an absolute bargain but wouldn't wanna go back anymore, it's so much stronger, smoother and feels more sophisticated than it's corded brethrens. So go for it  8)

I completely agree the cordless version is a better saw. The addition of Bluetooth makes the corded version obsolete if you have a Bluetooth vac.
