Problem Getting Both Boom and Workcenter Accessories to Fit Together...

I was out in my shop today assembling the following new Feldor equipment:

- CT 48 E HEPA Dust Extractor
- Boom Arm Assy for the CT 48 E
- Workcenter WCR 1000

With the boom arm assy attached (including the handle), I cannot get the workcenter to sit on top of the extractor because one of the workcenter's curved corners in the back (right side when looking from the back) hits the handle to where I can’t clamp it to the top of the extractor. If I pull the extractor top off, install the workcenter on the top, and then reinstall the whole assembly to the bottom assembly, now the extractor top won’t line up with the bottom because, once again, the corner of the workcenter hits the handle.

I cannot see any way to change how the handle is fastened, anything that looks out of alignment, etc. and, short of trying to bend the handle back a little towards the top (or notch out the corner of the workcenter), I really see no solution. I am curious if other people may have had the same problem and maybe I somehow got something assembled incorrectly but, at this point, I don’t see how. Any potential solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It seems that the issue is with t-lock style garage.  I was talking to someone and they mentioned that it doesn't work.  You can try to reach out to festool to see if its possible to do.  You might need to modify one of the components.  I have an older style garage and it works fine with workcenter and boom arm

It might be the case. When everything is all assembled and I try to drop the work center on top, the locks and the indexing pins don't come close to lining up. Everything does line up and can be locked in place when I pull the top off and then set the work center on it or, like today, I removed the handle, put the work center on the top and then locked it into place thinking I could approach this in reverse order. Of course, when I tried to reinstall the handle, I could not get the upper brackets to line up because of the handle interference. I did notice when I was reinstalling the handle that the work center pillars, when locked into place, actually are not on the centerline on the extractor and actually right of center. Is everyone else's off center as well?

I contacted both Festool and the company I bought the equipment from and waiting for a reply.
