I like most carpenters like the most bang for my buck, If you tell me for around $250.00 US I can get a set of knee pads or a power tool, I tend to go with the powertool. In fact I have for the 15 years I have been seeing adds for Proknee .
Well, I finally broke down and bought some and I'm telling you I should have done it 15 yrs ago. They are the most comfortable, best designed kneepad ever and I've tried them all. They are made to order based on your measurements, there is absolutely no strap bite on the back of your legs, and all your weight is transfered to your shins. Something I find awesome since I'm a big guy @ 6'4" and north of 250#.
A friend that had both knees replaced, said he could see working on his knees again with them, something he hasn't done in quite a few years. He may have to buy himself a set.
