A recent promo in Oz saw me getting my hands on one of these for $199 instead of the normal $799. I really wanted the 18V version, but I either wasn't quick enough or the ones supposedly available were ghosts!

12v is plenty for drywall screws anyway. Congrats!

Yep 75% off - couldn't let that go by. Also got a few Protool drill bits, sockets, etc and a short (3m) 36mm hose to dedicate to the KAPEX. Came away with a Festool lunchbox, stubby holder, pencils and a fleecy jumper too  [smile]

It's branded Festool with Festool colours, with the addition of a Northern Abrasives logo on the opposite side to the Festool one.
