If that is your only reason, you may regret the sale.  I have an 18" bandsaw and I used my jigsaw just yesterday to cut out a large arch on a long piece of cherry that would not fit through the bandsaw.  It is much easier to make certain cuts by moving the saw rather than a large piece of wood, no matter your depth of throat.

I thought I would use it more when I bought it along with several other Festool tools in 2008, but have only used it a few times and what I have used it for I can now do with the bandsaw.  I'm sure I need it when it's gone.  That usual!
