Hi, I have a few questions - I thought FOG would be a nice place to ask, although I'm not sure where I should put this.

My Kapex is sticky on the down-action. It takes a bit more force to pull it down than what I like. Is this something I can adjust? It was fine the first few months I had it. Also - can I cut aluminium with the standard sawblade the kapex comes with?

I'm making a workbench, similar to how Jeremy Schmidt made his in his new video. I would like to avoid making the top out of concrete though, just because it's a time-consuming method requiring materials I don't have at the moment. Is it possible to use sand in a torsionbox setup instead, essentially turning into a deadblow "table"? Guess it wouldn't function like one, but it would add mass.

I have a Scheppach Basato 5-4 bandsaw. It has a wide table with 2 tracks, it has a really good fence, but I feel it cuts poorly, I have to angle the wood about 30 degrees relative to the table to cut straight, it makes more noise than I'd like, the blade adjustment is not good, and it takes a lot of room. I just don't like the machine. The blades are probably dull - but to get new ones I have to pay about 100USD. I know I can sell this for about 8000NOK (1000 USD) as it is, and buying new blades won't really change that. I have contemplated on making my own (akin to Matthias Wandel), or buying a portable bandsaw. Is Mafell the only one that makes one? And is the price of 53.000 NOK (6277 USD) online in Norway what it really costs, or is this a pricing error?
