Thinking of removing the stock fence plates and replacing them with one long plate see pics. this would only be attached to the right side atachment that uses the Festool micro adjuster system. I would need to cut away some of the one piece plate in the center bottom for the vacuum and cuter clearance.

This should give me some micro adjustment using the festool micro knob only.

I May need to add a lockable support for the left side to control the leverage applied to the Festool micro system.

Any comments will be helpful.

Mine is an adaptation of another members creation. I believe his name is Ben.

If you're near Colorado Springs, my CMS will be there next month, if you want to take a look at it.

This is how mine works;

Ok I just removed both fence plates and discovered the mounting steel plate attched to the Festool micro screw on the right is in the same plane as is the aluminum casting on the left side when the Festool micro adjusting screw is all the way out. So the steel mounting plate for the Festool micro unit only moves to the rear.

This would mean the one piece fence plate would need to mounted with a spacer from the adjustable steel plate. I guess I could just mount it to the org. Festool right side fence.

I would need to set the cource adjustment when the Festool micro adjustment is in the mid point of movement.
