quickscribe tool for festool routers?

Hi,
I came across this tool on the web:

However, I didn't see any attachments appropriate for a Festool router.  Are there any?  There is a copier/scanner set available for the 1010/1400, but from what I could tell, this would not be used the same way as the scribing tool.  Is that correct?  I haven't done much woodworking at all, but am getting interested, as there are a plenty of projects around the house we bought .

First,  [welcome] to the FOG.  We hope that you will visit and ask and comment.

Regarding the quickscibe - I actually have one.  I bought it for a project that was put on hold by a clients death  [eek].  Their design was centered about the most common laminate trimmers.  Mine is in pristine condition - never used.  Maybe one day.

It is a cool concept.  Someone else here has one and it was mentioned in a post.  I'll look for it and post back.

I assume you are using a Mac and Safari like I am.

I got them to play by installing Firefox and then a video extension for Quicktime called Flip4Mac wmv.mpkg.

I think that you might find them interesting.

The QuickScribe approach would be an nice addition to the MFK 700 bases. There are already a couple of special use bases available for the MFK 700. An offset base combined with  Quickscribe copy wheel would make a great addition to the MFK 700 accessories.
