This is my latest project is a quilt rack. The wood is red oak, the mortise for the stretchers and the top were cut with a table saw. I used dominos to join the sides and the top together. The rack is held together with four wages, cut at a 2 degree angle and the top is removable to put the quilt on and take it off. The 8mm slots for the wages in the stretchers were cut with the Domino 500. The tenons were cut on a router table.
It was finished with MinWax Early America oil base stain, five coats of MinWax oil base clear satin polyurethane and waxed with 0000 steal-wool and MinWax past wax.
This the first project I used my new ETS 125/3 EC sander on it was pleasure to use, great dust collection, easy to control and there were no scratch marks.
