I saw that the RAS can be used for concrete work and I'm looking do some patching of a concrete floor before painting it. I'd love to have it ground and polished but getting the equipment up to our house is an issue so I'm resorting to more of an industrial/studio look and feel for our main living area. Right now its got VAT in good shape so popping them off isn't an issue and removing the cutback I'm looking into using a soy based solvent. When all of that mess is removed though there will probably be areas that need to be ground and patched. I've used my Rotex on a small bathroom floor to some success by using diamond resin pads but I'm sure its a great way to kill my Rotex.
Anyone with advice on experience using the RAS for concrete and/or solid surface? The original dealer that I got my Festool stuff from used it for solid surface and beat the crap out of it. Even rigged up an ATF55 with a water feed to cut with!
Thanks in advance.
