As I was packing up to leave the job yesterday I found a small hard rubber wheel close to where I had my tools set-up. This wheel is about 1" in diameter and has a axle about 3/4" in length. The only reason I post this is that it kind of looks like something "Festool-like" and my Kapex saw was part of my set-up. When I got back to my shop I gave the Kapex a quick going over and it seems fine but I am left wondering if this wheel is part of the saw. If I wasn't so lazy would look at the schematic but I though I would throw it out here to see if anyone has any ideas. Hopefully it belongs to the home owner and is not part of my saw. The only other tools of note were my CT22 and RO150 but this wheel doesn't fit their profiles.....Thanks for reading this!

I think you are right (whew!). I dug out the Kapex schematic this morning and nothing resembling this wheel is diagrammed. I am heading back to this job on Monday and will handed it over to the homeowner...Thanks for the response! JPF

Brice, I have 2 of those but the one I'm talking about is  the plastic (cheaper) version of the floor sweep nozzle model #45209.  The steel axle is pressed into a molded recess and actually comes out too easily, which is why I lost one.  I use this nozzle because it is much less prone to clogging on slivers and chips than the one you pictured.

BINGO! The funny thing is that I found the wheel on Tuesdaybut I never used my vacuum attachments. But I did on Monday. I just checked my floor attachement and it is missing one of the wheels and as noted above they come out very easy. The garage floor I vacuumed is pretty rough so it all adds up. Thanks again for the replies!
