Anyone seen or used the  Ready2Rout  fence  or  Ready2Lift  router lifts  yet?

Seems like a  low end CnC package  for a router table.
Looks fast  and  adds potential  for  finger jointing  stepped designs  on drawer  front joinery.

I have the fence.  It is pretty nice but does have limitations.  The box joints I made with it were perfect.  I would like to get the lift since they work together.

I took advantage of the Rockler free shipping offer today, didn't realize when I went to check out that I had the Ready2Lift saved from a month or two back....  Yes, didn't pay attention and ordered the lift by accident....  Will decide overnight whether or not to keep it on the order.  I was caught by surprise as I had checked my cart several times, and once ready to check out I signed in, and that is when the other items were added to my order....

I purchased the Ready2Rout fence several months ago, and I've been using it a good bit this weekend.  As Don T stated, finger joints are perfect.  Actually, it is so perfect, you need to add 0.002 additional gap for the fingers, or they will be too tight for glue.

I was making three cases this weekend, very simple to punch in the starting point of the dado, and width of the dado, fence goes where you need it.  I will probably keep the lift on the order, as the bit height and fence work together so well, makes using the router table for some functions quick and easy.

I bought the original CNC Shark from Rockler when it first came out.  I think it was about 6 years ago.  The CNC Shark and the Ready2Route/Ready2Lift systems are both built by Next Wave Automation.  I was very happy with the quality of the CNC Shark.  It did everything it was advertised to do.  I recently sold my original CNC Shark and ordered one of Next Wave Automation's CNC Shark Fx units through a Kickstarter campaign.  This is a combo CNC Router, Laser Engraver and 3D printer unit. It is scheduled to arrive sometime in July.

Next Wave Automation seems to build quality products and is an innovative company.  From my experience, I think you will be happy with your purchase.

I ordered the Ready2Lift today. I plan to use it with my old Incra Ultra incremental positioning jig/fence. I would have liked to purchase the fence (Ready2Rout) at the same time but it all adds up and I had to put on the brakes. I am also a little disappointed that the travel on the Ready2Rout is so short. Anyhow, I hope the lift was worth the investment and it provides accurate repeatable measurements!

Let us know what you think of it after you have had some time to use it.

Once I receive the equipment, I will take some videos as I remove it from the packaging and assemble it. I plan to use it heavily for holiday gifts . . . if it comes in time. I should be able to offer feedback in a month and a half or so.

Great news! I received the Ready2Lift, Ready2 Touch Screen, and Ready2Lift 3.5" Router Adapter today!

I was surprised when I opened the Ready2 Touch Screen Interface and saw an included touch plate and cable. I was told the system didn't come with it and I would have to buy it separately . . . and I did for $101.54. I quickly sent an email to NextWave and Barb, the office manager, said to return the touch plate I purchased for a full refund. Great customer service!

I didn't mess with the lift at all because my new Incra table top and legs do not arrive until Friday. However, excitement got the best of me and I went out to the shop late this evening and took the lift out of its package. I had read somewhere that someone thought it was cheap and flimsy looking. Well, it doesn't look that way to me and it has substantial weight to it. I was impressed.

I then took out the magna lock insert and could not get it to seat. Upon further inspection, it looks as though the router bit opening in the lift plate was not fully milled. It is a tad flat in one spot which makes it impossible to seat the magna lock insert. All I can say is WOW. I am a little dissappointed by that. I just sent an email to the company and now await instructions on how to send it back for a replacement. I'm a little surprised that the quality control did not catch that, especially for the price the company charges for the lift.

I will let you know how it all works out.

Cheers!
