Have noticed this past week, that when I log in, 'Recent Post' disappears and returns when I log off.

I Pad  OS 7.0.02. with Safari.

Any comments.    [unsure]

Please do not turn this post into an Apple vs Windows debate!  [eek]

I use the Tapatalk on my iphone and really like the way it is laid out for the forum compared to using safari.

Are you talking about the entire recent posts section at the bottom of the home page?

If so I just tried on my wife's iPad (latest version) iOS 7.0 and had it visible when not logged in and then it was also visible after I logged in.  Logged out and tried again and it worked ok.

Thanks Peter for your response.

Yes I was, but given your experience the mystery continues.

Have just had a thought, will remove FOG from favourites and see if  a new total download helps.

No that did not work!    [sad]

I too don't want to see this become an Apple vs the rest of the world thread, I would suggest that you turn off your iPad completely and try again.  I know from firsthand experience with my wife's iPhone and iPad that iOS 7 is doing weird things to some and not to others.  I don't have those issues on my ipad or iphone because mne are to old to run 7.

Offered sincerely.

Still no joy. Must say that I too am not over excited by OS7.

Will see if the problem self corrects in coming days. It's occurence was not coincidental with system upgrade.

Thanks again.  [smile]

Stephen you might try using the Tapatalk app if Safari continues to be a problem.

I read posts and sent a reply thru my iphone 5 w/io7 using Tapatalk yesterday with no problem.

My iPad 2 with the latest OS works with the FOG just fine. No idea why you are having issues.

Try "settings", "safari" clear "history" and clear "cookies and data"

That's one of the first things I try when running into similar problems.

Tried this, but thanks anyway.

Re tap talk, i have it but not a fan.

I use TapTalk HD and ios7 on my ipad. I have noticed in the last few days that when I log back in, all the recent unread post since my last visit are gone, and only the "new" stuff is there.  Thought it was me!.

I just installed Safari on my windows laptop and logged in using Safari everything is normal when I log onto the FOG.

I am now in tapatalk and still no joy.

The mystery continues!

Anyway time to oil a countertop, will see what tonight brings.

Sorry for the problems. I use my iPhone and Sarafi on iOS7 frequently to access the forum. I've not experienced any issues.

For what it's worth, nothing has changed on the forum side for some time.

Stephen, when you are at the home page and scroll down to the bottom of page you are saying there are no recent post showing.  At the bottom of page it should say this: Woodworking & Power Tools Forum - Festool Owners Group - Info Center, to the right of that is a little button, click on that and see what happens.

Good point, Michael. The sections can be collapsed and expanded. The forum remembers the setting for each user. Sorry, been travelling all day and not on my game.
