Hello everyone,

I'm in the market for a TS75 and a CT22 and I've been searching the internet (via links to authorized dealers per FestoolUsa) for the lowest price for a package deal of the two. Well, as you probably already know, the price is the same everywhere one looks for a package deal. However, I stumbled on one site that has the package deal for $50+ less than what everyone else is advertising.
Naturally, it's peaked my interest but it also has triggered my "to good to be true?" instinct.
Where did you purchase your Festool products from?

Thank you in advance for the input. I'm happy to have found this site and plan on spending quite a bit of time researching the archives.

If you are making a decision to buy Festool, the first lesson you will quickly learn is the price is what it is. And if you try to get a different price, at best you will get a dealer in trouble potentially having them lose their license. You can order online and not pay shipping and tax. There is already a thread about the legality of that... I'm not expressing opinion. It is what it is.

If that's not what you want to hear, then you are not quite ready. You can shop for used deals on Craigslist and eBay. Is it worth the headache and hassle? Once you accept the price, it is actually liberating, reduces the stress. You know everyone is basically paying the same. And if you choose to sell, your resale value will be well protected. It works both ways.

Thank you, David for the link; somehow I missed that thread while searching.

It's funny, Alg, how mention once you accept the price it becomes more liberating. If you would have told me 2 weels ago I'd be spending nearly $1,000 for a circular saw and a shop vac, I would still be laughing.
Thank you both for the comments.

I agree with the guys above.  When first introduced to Festool, I also looked for best price.  Now I can concentrate on who has best service , etc.

You can take comfort knowing that after April 1st, the same gear will cost more.
My suggestion, build yourself a spreadsheet and a strategy for what you want to get and when it makes sense.
I have sold many non Festool tools that are displaced or not used to fund my new purchases. Haven't gone golfing in awhile.

Well, I've got a little extra spring in my step, no doubt due to the lightness of my wallet!

TS75/CT22/R0 150 on their way--let the remodeling commence.
