Registering warranty on TS 75 swap-out in TS 55 R recall

I'll try not to make this convoluted.  Responses to other posts re "Warranty Registration" state the warranty reg was done by the place where the tool was purchased.  If one takes option 2 offered with the TS 55 R issue, how does one get the warranty for the new TS 75?  This was not discussed during the telecon.  It should be noted that the young lady who handled my inquiry was polite, most helpful, and professional - kudos to the Festool Customer Service staff in Indiana.
 
A new tool, in this case the TS 75, will come with a 3 year warranty. There's no need to register the tool since its shipped directly from us. If you have further questions about the process, I'll have to ask you to call back on our toll free number, 1-855-784-9727.

I also am doing the t55 /t75 swap...after calling recall  # , I forgot to ask if the t75's are new or recons?  Anybody know?  It might change my decision.
 
I did ask, as that would effect my decision.  I was assured these were brand new saws, not reconditioned.  Got mine yesterday - a little heavier than the 55, but sweet!
