Removing glue from domino cutters?

Dried glue always chips off easily with a thumbnail or the corner of a credit card.  (Hopefully not one that melted from a recent tool bill.)  [scared]

Alex, tell that to my Bessey K-bodies.  PIA getting it off of the bars, especially in the grooves.  After I do get them all cleaned up, they're gettin' a waxin'!

Lacquer thinner has been my go-to goop remover for years, followed by acetone if the goop is greasy/oily.

Titebond 3 can easily be removed with common white vinegar.  soak the cutter in it for about an hour and it'll clean right off, guaranteed!  if it's in a place where you can't soak it, just saturate a paper towel with vinegar and wrap it around said glue covered item.  again, soak for an hour and voila!
