Been a lurker but first time post here.
I have one of the Renofix grinders and I’ve had it for about 6 months and I love it. But recently it’s bogging down and shutting off and then turning back on again on its own. The trigger also doesn’t always turn the tool on like the connection that the switch makes is dirty. It would be nice to not have to send it in for service right now because we are using it for the next couple of weeks. Is this a known issue or some sort of safety cut out mechanism that turns the tool off under certain circumstances? The tool isn’t getting hot and isn’t bogged down from the work being done. It's doing it under no load. I have a video but looks like I can only upload photos here.
Has anyone else experience similar issues? I bought my first Festool tools last fall and have about 7 of them now. All great but have had to send 3 of them in for service for similar issues (ETS EC 150/5 sander and others). I think that's a lot of top of the line tools that need to perform reliabily.
Thank you for your help.
