replacing a ctl36 knob

has anybody replaced a ctl36 volume knob,

my one has been broken clean off [sad] and im wondering if it is straight forward to change over if i can get a replacement part.

Since no one has jumped in here I'll respond.

You should be able to look up the specific part on ekat. What is involved with the replacement, I don't know.

I know the service guys here in the US would be a great help, but I don't know how things work in the UK. Can you ring up Festool service in the UK and ask them?

I hope for you that's only the knob and not the electronics part.
The knob itself is part-number: 496247 at GBP 10 incl. VAT.
Can be ordered form any dealer in the UK.

I suspect if the fix requires taking the unit apart that doing this yourself will be discouraged by Festool and not sure assistance will be forthcoming - which is fair enough really.

A picture of the damage would help.

Thanks everybody, It looks straight forward I have a new one on its way and it looks as though it will just push on without taking anything apart.
