Replacing the Male End of a Plug It Cord

Hi,

The male end of one of my plug it cords broke.  Any advice on installing a new plug ?  My one beef with Festool is that it just so happens that the cord that failed is the one that works with my TS55.  I have an OF1400 so I should have two plug it cords with the required plug.  However, I have misplaced one of them.

I have at least a half dozen other plug it cords, but they don't work with my TS55.  What a nuisance !

Thanks.

It is all about amps and required wire size.  I also have broken a prong on one of my 1400 / TS55 cords and have it on my list to deal with, so I am swapping it out as necessary.

First you need to seek approval from the female [wink]

Don't you guys just chop off the moulded plug and put another on the lead over there?

(I was planning to make a short lead for under the CMS)
