The Toolie Tool is one of my most used Festool tools and it occupies a prominent spot in the top tray of my hand tools systainer. The Toolie Tool has nine fold out fingers and at the end of each finger is a sub-tool that fits a fastener that is used in one or more Festool tools.
Here is my Toolie Tool in a picture taken shortly after I received it in 2004:

I am not all the careful about where I put down keys, drivers, etc. and often lose things like this that come with my tools shortly after I get the tool. Then, with many of my tools, when I need do a task such as to changing a blade or adjusting a fitting for slack, I am in trouble. But, I always know where my Toolie Tool is, so this seldom happens with my Festool tools.
Here are photos of the toolie being used to help change the blades in a PS 2 jigsaw and in a TS 75 circular saw:

In spite of much protest, Festool stopped selling the Toolie Tool in 2008. For the benefit of nostalgic folks such as me, I am attaching a photo of page 76 of the Festool 2003-2004 catalogue featuring the Toolie and showing that one could purchase a single Toolie for $15 or ten Toolies for $135. I wish that I had purchased ten of them then.

It is possible to take the Toolie apart in order to replace or repair damaged fingers. To do so, the force out the two green hexagonal green caps at the appropriate end of the Toolie. Each is a tight fit into a hexagonal recess.

Under each cap there is slotted pan head screw and a washer. The screws are screwed into a rod which has a threaded hole at either end. The rod acts as an axle for all the fingers at that end of the Toolie.
There have been ongoing rumours that Festool would be releasing a new Toolie and I strongly advocate that they do so. I have a few suggestions for changes that I would like to see in the revamped Toolie.
(1) Add a wrench head to fit the routers. (aside: when I said I seldom have a problem locating the tools needed with my Festool tools the word was seldom rather than never, because I do loose this wrench from time to time).
(2) Add a light.
(3) Add a few little items such as scissors, knife, and tweezers similar to those in a Swiss Army card.

(4) Make the fingers so that a each finger can be locked in the open position.
