The wife has me refinishing our kitchen table and chairs.  The chairs are a real pain to sand because they have mostly round components.  Is there a Festool sander that would be good for the small round components?  The RO 90 with delta pad maybe??... Or is by hand with sandpaper still the best way?
Thanks

I'd say RO-90 will be really helpful, but it won't eliminate hand sanding. If yo buy RO-90, buy elongated delta pad, and interface pads too. They are really time savers, and will help you with curved surfaces.

The RO90 is a fantastic sander, but I question its ability to sand round shapes.  The delta pad will be great sanding the flat surfaces up to the round, but not the round portion itself based on my experience.

Like Victor recommended, check out the interface pads which are available for many of our sanders (RO 90, 125mm, 150mm, RTS and LS 130). It allows the abrasive to conform to irregular or rounded shapes.

Shane,
Thanks for the video!  Are delta interface pads available for the RO 90?

I'm not Shane but I can answer the question.  No, there isn't an interface pad for the delta head.
