Rights to republish Festool guides?

About a week or so ago, I put word out to Jerry and Rick Christopherson that 2 different people were doing this. Rick told one of them to stop and gave the other guy permission.
Never heard back from Jerry.

That's not much more than it would cost to print and bind it.

I'd be pissed if the guy was stealing my livelihood, but nobody's getting rich out of it.

It's not legal without permission of the owner of the copyright.  Under US law there are statutory fines available to the copyright holder for each unauthorized copy.

Here's a link for anyone who has difficulty getting to sleep after all the excitement from working with their Festool products and reading FOG posts
Copyright Statutes

If I owned the copyrights, I'd also be watching Craig's List and possibly other forums using a web crawler engine.  Some scofflaws are determined and won't stop until litigation is concluded.  Think Napster et al in regard to copyrighted sound recordings, and theft of copyrighted audio and video recordings continues to be big business for some pirates today.

This looks  like the large company(again I am not sure) that was told to stop binding the Festool manuals. There is one guy on eBay that has permission to bind the Festool info, NOT Jerry Work's manuals, but the Festool manuals written by Christian.
