RIP Charles Neil

I just found out that Charles Neil passed away in December 2019.  At some point last year, I saw someone posted a note on a Facebook Group saying he was retiring and selling all of his tools.  Evidently, he had been sick for a while:

What a loss... I have learned a lot from his finishing videos and I will be forever grateful for that.

Sorry to hear this.  He made a big contribution to teaching woodworking.  RIP Charles.

I learned a lot from him and had the chance to play his teacher's helper during a number of workshops in Tucson many years ago. He loved the craft and had so many good stories.

The volume of furniture he built in a year while teaching workshops and creating content for guild is amazing. I don't think he slept.
