Saw this on Ebay... RO 125 Listing  Let's see, it's pretty beat up, no systainer, 6 years old and still wants $275 for it.  No bids yet.  They also said there is no "bag" with it.  Sounds like someone who is really knowledgeable about Festool, ya think?  Someone will probably buy it tho.  One would think they would at least try to clean it up a bit before listing it.  Sheesh.

I see what you mean.  [blink]

That sander is not beat up at all. It is in pretty good condition, and not all that much used, judging from the outside. Only the edges of the pad are totally gone, the owner didn't use the edge protector. This sander still has a lot of life in it.

275 is a bit steep though. 175-200 range is more reasonable, as you have to buy a new pad and perhaps a systainer. And an edge protector.

I am always very amazed that people don't clean their tools before they sell them. A clean looking tool is worth quite a bit more.

Look at it this way - it's the price of only 3 Festool Toolies on eBay. [big grin]  Condition wise it doesn't look that bad, I purchased a used RO150 in similar condition, but it had been in for a service and had some guts replaced, it was about the same age as this one.

The seller is a pawnbroker hence the lack of knowledge and the 'positive description' of no owner marks.

Walk away......
