RO 90 abrasives assortment

I have to give an A++++ to Tom as well.

I am an experienced woodworker, but the RO90 is my first Festool sander. I gave him some guidelines - Like I want to be prepared for almost anything, but 90% of my sanding will be 'conventional' i.e. bare wood from planing/jointing up through finishing. I also asked him to try to keep it around $100 if possible. He was very patient with me, and came up with a package that I think anyone who buys an RO 90 should have,

The guidance was mine, but the GENIUS behind the package was Tom's. Here's what he came up with:

Granat RO 90 DX Abrasives Assortment

Granat RO 90 DX (Delta)
Qty Grit     Use
2 - P40 Heavy Duty - for that odd job
3 - P60 Heavy Duty - because it's quite useful to clean up paint and drywall
10 - P80 Coarse
10 - P100 Coarse
10 - P120 Coarse
10 - P150 Intermediate
10 - P180 Intermediate
10 - P220 Fine
10 - P240 Fine
5 - P320 Fine - because it's good between coats of finish
2 - P400 Fine - in case you need it

and the same assortment in Granat  RO 90 DX (Round)
Qty Grit     Use
2 - P40 Heavy Duty - for that odd job
3 - P60 Heavy Duty - because it's quite useful to clean up paint and drywall
10 - P80 Coarse
10 - P100 Coarse
10 - P120 Coarse
10 - P150 Intermediate
10 - P180 Intermediate
10 - P220 Fine
10 - P240 Fine
5 - P320 Fine - because it's good between coats of finish
2 - P400 Fine - in case you need it

Total Cost = $98 Nice!

But here's the best part:

[attachthumb=#]

The whole kit-n-kaboodle fits perfectly (and barely) into the appropriate space in the RO 90 case!!

I can't thank Tom enough for coming up with this assortment for me, and I highly recommend it to any first-time RO 90 user. If you want one just like it, contact Tom and tell him that you want the same thing that 'wow' from the FOG bought. He'll know exactly what you want, and you'll get exactly what you need!

(the fine print: I have no affiliation with Tom except as a new customer, blah..blah..etc.)

(Edit - fixed a couple of formatting and copy/paste errors. Nothing that affects the package item qty's or the price.)

I'm interested in an assortment of the Platin S500-S4000 Grit Abrasives for RO 90 DX Sander...anyone know if such an assortment is available from anyone?
