Haha. I gave up following either arrival months ago. I just assumed the Rolair had their stuff together and released them a few months ago.
So Cadex is only available in Canada?
My JC 10 has led an abused life and started to make funny noises recently. Its 5 years old and pretty beat up. A great little compressor but if I could get that performance in a systainer for job site convenience I’ll spend the extra cash.
I love my Cadex guns so if I could grab their SysIV model that would be awesome also.
They ship from Toronto all over the world.

I've been buying from them without a problem ever for close to twenty years. Satisfied customer only - no other affilliation.
Here's the Cadex SYS4 at $799 CAD.

And as Gomer Pyle used to say....'surprise, surprise', look what I just spotted ....

And it looks to be in stock as well.
As they say in their shipping blurb, they're not responsible for BS brokerage fees and cross border duties and taxes. Here in Canada, ordering from the US is a hit and miss proposition with that, even on piddly items with getting hit with charges like that at the door. One thing I do try to do when ordering cross border is to see if they ship via USPS as there is a reciprocal agreement with our Canada Post here in Canada which usually will just entail an additional fee of a flat $5 for the customs brokerage fees. Not sure if on an $800 CAD item whether that applies though. Note: here in Canada, Purolator is owned by Canada Post. I only mention that as I've had USPS shipped goods arrive at the door in a Purolator van. Not sure if a shipper uses Puro here to ship to the US whether the item routes to USPS and thus possibly gets that aforementioned favourable reciprocal brokerage fees agrement pricing.
Brokerage fees with UPS, Fedex etc can be stupid nonsense money. 25 to 50 is not unusual, but on some occasions, I've not been charged anything. Lioe I said, it can be hit and miss. You also don't always get nailed at the door. Sometimes the fee arrives as a bill later in the mail. And at that value, don't be surprised if you get hit with some kind of duty tax, or state tax possibly also.
Right now 800 CAD is 616 USD and 600 CAD is 462 USD.
