I am looking for a way to connect my Festool vacume hose to the oval dust port, that is easy and secure. Has anyone found a way?

Hi Greg,

The rubber adapter at the hose's end will conform to the oval port; just needs some force and a little squishin'.

Yep.  I do that all the time to attach a Festool hose to my DX-93 sander which also has an oval port, as does the 1010 router.  That elastomeric fitting can also be stretched a bit to fit over some (round) ports that are of larger diameter than Festool uses.  I frequently attach my 36mm AS hose to the DC port of my JoinTech hollow aluminum table saw/router table fence.
